The Lynx is ideally suited to both Models allowing the owner to fully use the capabilities of the powerful motor at elevated highway speeds.
Most of the installation work is focused on the relocation of the OEM instruments onto the Lynx dashboard. On this installation, the speedo and ignition switch are relocated onto the Lynx dashboard.
The dashboard on both models is attached to the top triple clamp under the bar risers.
Lynx Fairings can be fitted with the OEM fender but the fender will require cutting and modifying to do this. Contact us for more detail on this procedure. Alternatively, an aftermarket front fender can be used.
As with all Lynx kits, ample room has been left for the owner to install a GPS unit above the OEM instruments along with any other switches and sockets etc.
Installation time will vary depending on the complexity of the owner’s dashboard layout, but at least 5 hours should be allowed to complete the process. Owners are also encouraged to inspect the installation instructions before ordering to ensure that they can accomplish the process.
Owners should note that this Lynx fitting kit is designed to be installed onto the OEM forks and triple clamps and is compatible with aftermarket Gas tanks and Hand guards.
